Linda May Han Oh is one of the most acclaimed and distinctive voices in contemporary jazz. Born in Malaysia and raised in Perth, Australia, she has emerged as one of the preeminent bassists of her generation, celebrated for a sound that blends deep lyricism with fearless improvisation and a rare compositional intelligence.

Oh earned her formal training at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts before relocating to New York City, where she quickly established herself at the heart of the city's vibrant jazz community. A graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, she has collaborated with an extraordinary range of artists including Pat Metheny, Vijay Iyer, Terri Lyne Carrington, and many others.

As a bandleader and composer, Oh has released a series of critically lauded albums that showcase her ability to blur the lines between jazz, chamber music, and global influences. She holds a faculty position at the Manhattan School of Music.
