Jim Messina has spent more than five decades shaping the sound of American popular music. As a founding member of the pioneering country-rock group Poco, and later as one half of the beloved duo Loggins and Messina alongside Kenny Loggins, Messina helped define the warm, harmony-rich sound that bridged country, rock, and folk throughout the 1970s.

Born in Maywood, California, Messina first made his mark as a recording engineer and producer, working with Buffalo Springfield before stepping fully into the spotlight as a performer. Loggins and Messina produced a string of fan favorites, including "Your Mama Don't Dance," "House at Pooh Corner," and "Danny's Song," earning multiple Grammy nominations along the way.

A gifted guitarist, vocalist, and storyteller, Messina continues to tour and record, bringing warmth, craftsmanship, and an undeniable connection with audiences to every performance he gives.
