A leading voice in modern jazz, Walter serves as Chair of the Woodwind Department at Berklee College of Music and is celebrated for his dynamic work with the Ambrose Akinmusire Quintet and Eric Harland’s Voyager.

In this masterclass, Walter will coach local saxophone students through technique, tone, improvisation, and musical expression—offering rare insights drawn from his experience as both a top-tier performer and an influential educator.
