This Memorable Moment in Shaftman Performance Hall looks back at when Jayna Elise (formerly Jayna Brown) and Gabe Morales opened for The Wooten Brothers.

When the incredibly talented Wooten Brothers toured through Roanoke, stopping at Jefferson Center, they were gracious enough to allow a couple of Music Lab stand-out students to open the show. (The Wootens are known for their appreciation of music education, and earlier in the evening had conducted a workshop for a packed room.) Prior to them taking Shaftman Performance Hall stage, Jayna Elise (formerly Jayna Brown) and Gabe Morales with a backing band warmed up the audience with covers and originals penned in the Music Lab.
