Jefferson Center Needs and Deserves Your Support

Jefferson Center exists as our community’s premiere venue for the performing arts and cultural education only because the community values and supports those programs. Your donations are essential to ensure those services continue.

Here are some ways you can help:

• Thank you for being in the audience at our concerts. Ticket prices pay about half the cost of bringing top entertainers to our stages. Our Business Partners pay the rest.
• Thanks for giving the next generation appreciation and skills to make great music. Tuition paid by the families and fees from schools cover 2 percent of the cost. Generous donors pay the rest.
• We are grateful for generations of Jefferson Senior High School Alumni for preserving and maintaining their historic building for new uses. Proud alumni and friends of Jefferson Center make annual gifts to preserve our landmark.
• The Legacy of Jefferson Center will serve future generations of Roanokers. Planned and estate gifts ensure memories will survive in the future.
• The Music Lab at Jefferson Center gives talented teenagers the skills and opportunity to compose, perform and record original music. Some families can afford tuition, but no student is turned away because of inability to pay. Donors who help provide scholarship enable us to keep that promise.
• Members of Jefferson Center account for the largest number of Annual Gifts. Membership is an easy way to be part of our generous family. 
  The suggested minimum donation of at least $50 provides these benefits for 12 months following the date of your gift.
• Invitations to special after-concert receptions to meet and greet the artists.
• The opportunity to purchase tickets before they are available to the general public.
• A 10 percent discount on all Jefferson Center Presents concerts and special events.
• Complimentary subscription to Jefferson Center’s e-newsletter, which has the first notice of performances and other events.
• A charitable tax deduction and our gratitude for being part of Jefferson Center’s family of supporters.
