VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

SHAFTMAN PERFORMANCE HALL EVENT STAFF
Ticket takers, ushers, coat room attendants, greeters, Box Office assistants

COMMUNICATIONS
Flyer, poster and event notice distribution

ARCHIVIST
Organization, cataloging or display of Jefferson Center and Jefferson High School photos, archives and memorabilia

OFFICE SUPPORT
Processing mailings (folding, stuffing, labeling, stamping, hand addressing) General office support, filing, telephones, and administrative assistance

GREETER
Jefferson Center weekday shifts available (9 a.m. - 1 pm or 1 pm - 5 pm) to greet, welcome and direct guests arriving at Jefferson Center

SPECIAL EVENTS
Assist with marketing planning for receptions, parties, gallery openings, open houses, and special events

DEVELOPMENT AND GRANT WRITING
Development experience a plus

GALLERY
Assist in hanging or taking down shows, preparing artist lists, show programs, and other associated tasks

READING AND RESEARCH
Avid readers who would enjoy clipping names and changes, information of interest to Jefferson Center, clippings and articles mentioning Jefferson Center
