From the lavishly renovated 935-seat Shaftman Performance Hall  to the dramatic and elegant Fralin Atrium, and Fitzpatrick Hall,   the intimacy of L.L. Rice Room, the open space of the Rehearsal Hall   and the very useful Training Theater, Jefferson Center is designed to provide the community with a versatile gathering place it can cherish, embrace and enjoy. This historic landmark building houses a magnificent theatre, banquet and private event rental spaces, and an art gallery as well as being home to 19 nonprofit organizations. Located in West Downtown Roanoke, our numerous spaces can accommodate banquets, weddings, seminars, workshops, trade shows, corporate, public and private events and meetings of almost any size in a wide variety of event styles including theatre, performance and conference styles (with breakout rooms), classroom style, seated rounds and cocktail party style for every occasion with capacities from five to 900. Our free and convenient parking is just one more advantage of using Jefferson Center for your special event.

SALES OR SERVICE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES AT JEFFERSON CENTER
If you are hosting an event at Jefferson Center where alcohol will be served you may need a banquet, banquet special event, or mixed beverage special event ABC license. You will be responsible for securing this license; however, Jefferson Center is happy to help with the required forms. Your caterer is also able to help you with your application. Copies of your license and arrangements must be submitted for approval by Jefferson Center’s Director of Center Services prior to your event.
